About Our Teams
There are numerous trainers, clubs and basketball teams in Michigan, but no other organization matches what we offer young athletes. MAD Basketball Academy teams combine the knowledge and experience in USA Basketball player development with potential opportunities for high school exposure.
To form our teams, we use organic processes such as; player invite, player recommendations, tryouts, film evaluation, and individual registrations. However, we will periodically evaluate each player and offer constructive feedback. We know that we have plenty of talents coming, and we are open to the opportunity to play up where it makes sense to do so.
MAD Select teams aim to be the NXTPro/ Puma shoe circuit sponsored grassroots basketball club in Michigan. Our program seeks to develop high school players aspiring to earn NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, or JUCO athletic and/ or academic scholarship offers to play at the next level.
MAD Performance 14U Team is our official basketball development program for middle school players. Our 14U program will provide unparalleled instruction and training for middle school players in a team environment.
Player registration is $95 and tuition is $800 to be on a MAD Performance Team. The tuition covers training, equipments, and team gear. It does not cover the cost of events (i.e. travel and lodging). Event costs for our teams are divided among the number of players participating. For instance, if a tournament costs $200 for the team, and there are 10 players participating in the tournament, then each player pays $20 for the tournament.
Our goal is to develop the best basketball players and best individual athletes we can through our process of skills enhancement and game enhancements. We are developing pipeline of players to become candidates for grassroots NXTPro/ Puma shoe circuit.
Player Development Centers
We offer a unique blend of strength training, skills enhancement, game enhancements, and overall concepts and applications. We focus on live-reps (not just cones/pop-up defenders).
